A great big shout out to Lisa Box, Sales Admin Team Lead here at Marshall Leasing.

On Sunday 1st September Lisa ran The Big Half for a wonderful charity called Kids in Mind. The Big half is an annual road running event over the half marathon distance, held in central London. The 13.1 mile course takes runners from Tower Bridge to Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

Lisa says:

“The run was by no means easy with rising temperatures and 85% humidity! As a runner, running over Tower Bridge was an iconic moment for me and I loved it! The support on the course was brilliant and it was a privilege to be part of the Kids in Mind team of 11. Thank you so much for the donations already received. Your donations are helping kids in Women's Refuges who have experienced things no child should ever have to experience. Our support is making a difference so thank you!”

For those that would like to know more about Kids in Mind, they provide a place of hope and healing for disadvantaged children and young people who have escaped domestic violence. They have a suite of six core services providing a compassionate and safe space for emotional restoration and mental health care. Each service is thoughtfully designed to nurture healing and growth, helping every child rediscover their right to a peaceful and happy childhood.
